God lightens our load

devotionals

Don't miss Wednesday's devotional.
Monday
The sheep
in the video below
is
burdened down with lots of wool.
It has not been sheared in years.
It is hard for him to walk, and he can't see well.
Some people
walk around with burdens
as big and heavy as this sheep had.
God can lighten our load.
~
God is the burden - taker.
See the Sheep Video
below.
Anger, Bitterness, Fear,
Addictions, Unforgiveness, Etc.
are
heavy burdens.
Sins that you haven't repented of and dealt with
are heavy burdens.
Heavy burdens are like
heavy chains
around us.
Do you have any kind of heavy chains
around you?
God can break the heavy chains on you.
God can lighten your load!
God wants you to peacefully lie down
in
green pastures.

Sometimes
the ones I love the most...

God can lighten our load.

God can remind us to choose delight
when we feel annoyed.
Prayer
Lord,
When a loved one steps on my last nerve,
remind me
of how much
I love that person.
Remind me of
how glad I am that
I have that person in my life.
Death has taken so many of my loved ones.
Help me to reject irritation
and instead
find
delight
in being with that loved one.
In Jesus' name I pray,
Amen

Wednesday
Look how
this lion loves this woman.
This Mighty Lion
who would easily
create fear in any person,
showers his
tenderness and his love
on his beloved.
I hope you will experience the above video
as
Jesus hugging YOU.
Jesus is the
Lion of Judah.
And he loves YOU!
In the Bible,
Jesus is pictured as a lion.
The image of a lion
quickly communicates
the
Strength and Power of our Savior.
There is no one stronger. There is no one who deserves more respect than Jesus.
He is the
King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
He is nobody's wimp. He has no fear of anyone or anything.
No one makes him tremble.
JESUS IS THE
Commander of the Armies of Heaven.
And Jesus loves YOU!
Jesus loves everyone.
The problem is that everyone doesn't love Jesus.
John 14:23
~
It is amazing to me that the one
who is above all,
loves me
and beacons me to come to him
and
create a close loving relationship with him.
And he loves you and beacons you
this very day
to come closer to him.
If you have accepted Jesus
as your Savior and you live for him,
then you are called his beloved.
If you need to give your life to Jesus, click here.
I hope you will be blessed
by the enthusiasm
that the
lion
expresses in his love for his beloved.
I hope you will experience the video
as
Jesus hugging YOU.
God can lighten our load.
