Inspirational Sample Prayers

This page has two simple prayers:

one for a difficult situation and

one for physical healing.

The simplicity of the following prayers highlights the point
that prayer can be simple and short.

In fact, even a one-word prayer such as, "Help" is a perfectly acceptable prayer to our Heavenly Father.

This site has some simple prayers and some that are
longer and more in-depth.

We hope you enjoy our site and come back often.

Difficult Situations

The following is a prayer for difficult situations:

Lord,

I am feeling overwhelmed and underpowered.

I need your help.

I need you to guide me through this time. I need to know what to do. I need to know how to get out of this mess. Show me the way out.

I am seeking to follow you. 

I am going to do the next right thing.

 Healing

The following is a prayer for physical healing:

Lord,

I need healing for my body.

I am reaching out to you.

You are the one who has all the answers. You are the one who has all power.

Help me.

I ask you to bring strength to my body and heal everything that is wrong with me.

Lord, this illness has made me realize how very important you are to me.

I will follow you as you lead me through this.

Amen
