God is all powerful, yet he limits himself
in order to allow us to participate
in what he is doing.
When we pray prayers for employment,
we work with God
to maximize our blessings from God.
Dear Lord,
You are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You are the Great and Powerful God who is above all gods. I thank you for your goodness and grace. Your compassion is intertwined with everything you do.
Thank you for your great desire to bless me.
Thank you that you are always thinking about what is best for me.
Thank you that you are going to help me to be employed at a good job that will give me plenty of money to pay my bills.
I will praise you for each job that you give me along the way to your perfect job for me. Thank you for each advance and each new position you lead me to find. You are my guide, and I will walk with you.
Lord, you are my constant loving companion. Thank you for listening intently to all my prayers for employment and blessing each one.
Lord, you gave me my talents, gifts, and abilities. You know my strengths. You made me for a purpose.
I take joy in reminding myself that you will open good doors of opportunity for me that no one can close, and you will close harmful doors that no one can open.
You always have my good in mind. By faith, I believe that you will guide me to accomplish those things that you created me to do.
In Jesus' name, I pray.
Amen

The next Job Prayer is done twice.
Once for a man, and then for a woman.
Heavenly Father,
We praise your love and your goodness.
We lift up_____________and ask that you would direct his steps to a job that would bless him.
We pray that you would protect him from discouragement and that you would bring him new excitement about the future plans that you have for him.
Thank you for opening his door of opportunity.
May he draw closer to you during this time and may he desire to stay close to you.
Amen
