Financial prayer

for those in debt

Prayer

is a great asset for getting out of debt.

Our goal is to help you

develop your relationship

with God

and

with money.

We would enjoy hearing about

your progress toward debt-free living.

Note that we present the following prayer twice -

first for our women visitors

and then again

for the men visitors.

If a husband and wife want to pray this together,

they can easily adapt it

by changing it from a singular such as "this woman" to "this family."

Prayer for women:

Almighty God,

Your love and care for us is not limited to our health and relationships. You deeply care about our finances.

Lord, we pray for this precious woman. We pray that you would lead this woman along the path to a debt-free lifestyle. We pray that this woman will catch that vision and get motivated to achieve financial freedom.

Lord, we pray for a salary that is sufficient for this woman. We pray that you would show her how to bring her finances into a healthy place. We pray for future favor for new benefits and raises through her employment.

We pray for inspiration in the area of finances. Lord, we pray that you would renew her mind so that she is willing and ready to manage her money the way you want her money managed.

Lord, teach her how to earn extra income and how to be thrifty with the money she has. Help her to hear your voice on what to buy and what not to buy during this difficult time. Help this person to become firm in the area of financial self-control.

You tell us there is power in your Word. Thank you for drawing this person toward passages in your Word about finances. Remind her to read those money scriptures out loud regularly.

Thank you for opening up the floodgates of opportunities and abundance. By faith, we believe that you are working to get this individual (or family) out of debt and into financial blessing.

Lord, we ask that you would use every part of this financial prayer to greatly bless this one who is seeking your help this day.
