2 Peter 3:3-4 KJV says,

Knowing this first,

that there shall come in the last days

scoffers,

walking after their own lusts,

And saying,

Where is the promise of his [Jesus] coming?

for since the fathers fell asleep,

all things continue

as they were from the beginning of the creation.

that brings

salvation

What are the Birth Pains?

1 Thessalonians 5:3 NIV

Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, ² for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
³ While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

In Matthew 24 NIV,

Jesus gives more information,

Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. ² “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

³ As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

⁴ Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. ⁵ For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. ⁶ You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. ⁷ Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

⁸ All these are the beginning of birth pains.

And since we know

Jesus is returning,

it is wise to read

God's Words of advice to us in 

2 Peter 3:14.

It says

So then, dear friends,

since you are looking forward

to this,

make every effort

to be found

spotless, blameless and at peace with him.

Please read all of 2 Peter chapter 3.

If you do not watch

The Bible says that

if

you will not watch,

the coming of Jesus will come upon you as a thief.

Jesus comes

as a thief

to those who are not

watching.

Jesus said...

Remember therefore how you have received and heard;

hold fast and repent.

Therefore

if

you will not watch,

I will come upon you as a thief,

and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.

And

Jesus says in Luke 21:34,

But take heed to yourselves,

lest your hearts

be weighed down with carousing,

drunkenness,

and cares of this life,

and that Day come on you

unexpectedly.

Great Advice:

Always be ready for the return of Jesus.

2 Timothy 3 says:

blasphemers,
disobedient to parents,
unthankful,
unholy,

unforgiving,
slanderers,
without self-control,
brutal,
despisers of good,

⁴ traitors,
headstrong,
haughty,
lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

⁵ having a form of godliness but denying its power.

And from such people turn away!

Note:

Having a form of godliness -
that includes those who say they are Christians
but do not have any power
in their life to come against their sins.

And

Matthew chapter 24 has signs of the end times.
