Be Still and Know

From Psalm 46:10

GOD says in Psalm 46:10:

Be still and know that I am God.

Monday 

Be still = Relax 

The Hebrew word that is translated into English as

"Be still"

is defined as

Relax.

~

Loosen your grip on your problems.

Let them fall into God's hands.

Be still - Relax - let your tensions flow out of you.

Be still - lay your tangled thoughts at the cross.

Be still and Know - the Peace of God

There is a miraculous peace

that is available

through Jesus Christ. 

In John 14:27, Jesus said:

My Peace I give to you.

We need to learn how to yield and receive

The Peace of the Lord.

Philippians 4:7 tells us about a miraculous peace.

A

"Peace that passeth understanding."

God can give me peace when there is no earthly reason

that I should have peace. 

God can give me a miraculous peace.

Cast all your cares on the Lord

for he cares for you.

Please consider praying with me.

A Peaceful Prayer:

Loving Lord, 

Help me to wear the world like a loose garment.

I want to "be still" and experience

more

of your

miraculous peace.

Show me how to loosen my grip

on my problems.

Show me how to let go of all my cares,

and let them

fall into your hands.

I want to

yield to you.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Amen
