Monday
Lord, I will glorify you.
I will give you glory and honor with my mouth.
I will give you glory and honor with my actions.
Dear Lord,
I love you, and I want to glorify you.
I want to follow you in every way.
Today, I will thank you for your blessings to me.
Today, my mind will think on godly, righteous things.
And today, my mouth will sing praise to you.
Amen

Highlighted Bible Verse:
Brothers
and sisters,
Continue to think about what is good and worthy of praise.
Think about what is true and honorable and right and
pure and beautiful
and respected.
Philippians 4:8 ERV
______
Finally, brethren,
Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just,
whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely,
whatever things are of good report,
if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy
meditate on these things.
Philippians 4:8 NKJV
Tuesday
Jesus show us the way, that leads to You.
Don't want to stray; lead us to truth.
~
Show us the way, that leads to You.
Don't want to stray; lead us to truth.
I'm excited about Jesus. How about you?
Wednesday
Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Psalm 103:1 NKJV
What does the phrase "Bless the Lord" mean?
The Hebrew word translated "Bless" is Barak.
The single English word "Bless" doesn't cover the fullness of this Hebrew word.
In Hebrew, it also has in its definition the idea of kneeling or to bend the knee.
Kneeling is one way to express worship to God. And "Bless the Lord" translates into a deep reverence for God.
Worship
We can worship the Lord in many ways. One way is through words. Some other outward ways are to kneel, or to lay prostrate* (on the floor on our face), or to stand and hold our hands up to God.
* Such as in the song: "All hail the power of Jesus' name! Let angels prostrate fall."
Psalm 63:4 NKJV says to God,
"Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name."
Years ago when my son was in kindergarten, there was a little girl named Jennifer in his class. Jennifer told her mother that one day she was going to marry my son. (And Jennifer's mom told me.)
One night, our church was having a special service for children. We invited Jennifer to go with us.
When we got to church, I stayed with the kids. We began the children's service by singing songs to God. As we were all having a great time singing, I looked down and saw Jennifer with her hands up in the air singing to God.
Keep in mind that this was years ago and Jennifer went to a very conservative Methodist church that would not have held up hands while worshipping at church.
My first thought was that surely she was copying some other child. (Sometimes people in our church did hold up their hands but not that often.) I quickly looked around and saw no other child nor any adult holding up his hands. Then I realized that what happened was that her love for God had overwhelmed her, and she felt compelled to raise her hands.
I will never forget that precious picture of a little child loving God.
Worship
Worship is a time when we show our love for God. Sometimes it is just with our words, and then sometimes we feel drawn to position our body in a reverant way.
I encourage you to worship God in your home today
in whatever way you decide
in order to show your love to God.
Thursday
O come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand.
Psalm 95:6 NKJV
Because He is your Lord, worship Him.
Psalm 45:11b NKJV
The Lord teaches us in his Word to worship Him.
Worship can be expressed by something we say,
or by a position of our body.
~
In addition, in the book of Psalms, God tells us that
making godly choices is actually an act of worship.
Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name;
Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Psalm 29:2 NKJV
Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Psalm 96:9a NKJV
Dear Lord,
We come before you today to worship you with our words and with our actions.
We lovingly adore you.
Thank you for joyfully receiving our expressions of love.
Amen!

Lord Jesus, I say to you,
"Jesus, I adore You!"
The Word of God teaches us,
"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye nations.
Serve the Lord with gladness:
Come before his presence with singing."
Psalm 100:1-2 KJV
Concluding thought:
There is an old hymn called
"Worship the Lord in the Beauty of Holiness"
The lyrics are
Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Bow down before Him, His glory proclaim;
Gold of obedience and incense of lowliness,
Bring and adore Him - the Lord is His name.
