Full Armor POWER Prayer

I actually go through the motions of putting it on.

Dear Lord,

How GREAT thou art!

I give you praise today.

Your Word tells me to put on

The Full Armor of God.

Today,

    I put on the Helmet of Salvation.

Thank you for giving me your helmet to protect me.

Remind me to look to you every day

and

seek your saving strategies

to protect me

from the plots and plans of the devil and his demonic forces.


Today,

I put on the Belt of Truth.

Thank you for giving me your living words of truth.

Your Words are my daily bread.

I will be

nourished by YOUR Truth each day.

I want to learn your truth and live your truth better each day.

Lord,

Today as I seek truth and righteousness in my life,
I ask you to forgive me of my sins.
Lord, every day my mind goes places
that you never intended it to go.
Every day
selfishness and self-centeredness
creep up and
cause me to be
less
than what you want for me.
Forgive me and cleanse me, Lord.

Today, 

I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness.

Thank you that Jesus enabled me
to wear this breastplate.

I will honor and respect my Lord
by seeking to
live in a righteous way this day.

Today,

I put on the Shoes of Peace.

Thank you for telling me that
you want me
to live
in peace with you
and
peace with the Bible
every day.

You want me to have
peace
about the
great love and acceptance that you give to me.

Lord,
I will walk in peace this day
asking
that
you show me how to yield to you -
in order to
walk in an even deeper peace with you.

Today,

I pick up the Shield of Faith.

Thank you for reminding me to build up my faith.

I will pick up
Faith
in you, God, and in your Word
in order to
defend myself
from the fiery darts of the enemy.

I will resist and defeat
darts of
worry, fear, doubt, self-pity, self-centeredness,
spiritual weariness,
and _______ and _________.

My FAITH is strong and my victory is near.

Today,

I pick up the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. 

Thank you for your POWER Words!

I will read your words,
speak out your words,
and
be devoted to your words this day.

Through the Power of Jesus Christ,
I will unleash
in my life
the Power of the Commander of the Armies of Heaven.

  AND NOW -

I stand dressed and ready to

serve you wholeheartedly,

follow you obediently,

and

praise you joyfully

The devil knows that Christians

become spiritually weak when they do not read their Bible.

The devil knows that Christians become spiritually weak

when they do not pray daily.

The devil is our enemy.

He knows that Ephesians 6:13

- written in the box below -

says that

Christians need to put on the Full Armor of God to resist evil.

So Satan knows that

Christians

 - who put on their armor regularly - 

become STRONGER against him and his plans.

I am posting 2 prayers

so that

you have variety,

and so that

you can find which one you like the best.

I encourage you to pray a Full Armor Prayer daily.

Full Armor

Prayers for Victory

God of All Power, 

I give you Praise.

You have given me

Powerful Armor and shown me the way to Victory!

I put on the Belt of Truth.

I need to learn truth from your Word, and I need to obey truth.

I remind myself that the TRUTH will set me free.

I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness.

I need to pursue right living.

I need to stand opposed to sin and strong in obedience.

I need to live within the righteous boundaries that you give me in your Word.

I put on the Helmet of Salvation.

I need to be saved from the wiles of the devil this day. I need to be saved from his temptations, his lies, and his subtle deceptions.

I need to be Strong in the Lord and in the Power of His Might.

I put on the Gospel Shoes of Peace.

I need to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ  through my words and through my actions.

I pick up the Shield of Faith.

I need to increase my Faith in God. I need to Faithfully Stand against the pressures and persuasions of the devil and his forces.

I need to resist fear and worry. I need to resist doubting God. And, I need to stir up faith and determination to resist making decisions based on what I want.

I pick up the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

I need to practice boldly speaking Scriptures out-loud when ungodly thoughts tempt me to sin.

I need to read and speak out-loud

the Words of the Bible

so that

I can renew my mind

and therefore

think more like

my Heavenly Savior.

Today I am dressed and ready to follow God.

I am ready

to submit to God.

And

I am ready to resist what I need to resist.

And

I am ready to experience victories in my life.

In Jesus' Miraculous Name I pray,

AMEN!
