before we are going to be

Powerful in our Christian walk.

God,

Today,

I am going to be

I will listen for your Wisdom.

I will walk in Kindness and Love.

I will be Strong and Mighty

against sin!

I will not be discouraged or distracted.

I will resist every temptation -

including temptations

to be selfish and self-centered.

I will lead my family

by walking

in the footsteps

of my Savior Jesus Christ.

Full Armor of God Prayer

for

Husbands and Fathers

As a Mighty Man of God,

I put on the Helmet of Salvation.

I am called to Stand Strong for Christ

and

Pray for God’s protection over my family.

As a Mighty Man of God,

I put on the Belt of Truth.

I am called to follow the truth in God's Word

and

help my family live by God's Word.

As a Mighty Man of God,

I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness.

I am called to make godly, right choices in my life.

I am called to grow more like Jesus

and

help my family to grow more like Jesus.

As a Mighty Man of God,

I put on the Shoes of Peace. 

  I am called to bring a godly peace and kindness into my home.

As a Mighty Man of God,

I pick up the Shield of Faith.

 I am called to take my POWER SHIELD

and

RESIST

the devil's plans for me

and for my family.

I will not give in to temptation.

I will not listen to ungodly talk.

As a Mighty Man of God,

I pick up the Supernatural Sword of the Spirit

which is the Word of God.

My Sword gives me access to the

Awesome Power of God Almighty!

I will speak out God's Word, and I will see

God's Power

change me and change my life!

I will stand up and

BE A

Godly Man

who leads his family toward God.

When the enemy's forces come to attack me,
I will PELT, POUND, AND PULVERIZE them with
 God's Word.

I fight VIGOROUSLY.

I fight VALIANTLY.

And I shout VICTORIOUSLY,

"NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER."
