Now that the election is over,

we pray for

Peace

Lord,

We call out to you to calm our country.

Calm angry, violent hearts.

Protect our country.

Protect our people.

Come against violence and destruction. 

Bring your peace to each and every heart.

Cover this country with a quiet calmness.

May your will be done,
