Take one if you will and slip away another day.
A day used
someone else walked,
yours gone you just talked
Not to add but multiply,
that much harder each time you try
To put
down
what you would not leave,
making
yourself in lies
believe
Just one more time and I'll leave
alone
Gone another chance to have
grown
Closer to what you know you
need
Thinking only of yourself,
making others
bleed
The ones who are there who love you so
Must watch the
direction of your grave you go
One day to point the
blame
The next to hide your face in shame
From the mirror who use to
smile
That now
drowns in
denial
A
day can come when there is a
burn
Of wanting to be
just like
before
The truth
you can't and won't
ignore
One more time,
it's through death's door.
