Lord of Love,

Here I am.

I am up in the middle of the night.

I am awake when I want to be asleep.

My mind is thinking about the needs

of my loved ones.

I think you want me to pray for them.

It does

seem

like a good idea

 to pray for them as they are sleeping.

So...

Lord, in the quiet of this night,

l lift up pray for 

______, _______, _______, and ________.

As they are 

resting and recharging,

I pray that

you would do

wondrous things for them.

I pray that

this night,

you would touch their body with healing

and their mind with peace.

I ask that you would

look ahead to their day and prepare them 

for every challenge and every difficulty.

I ask that you would look ahead and insert

opportunities for lightheartedness and laughter.

Bless them in every way.

Thank you, Lord,

for everything you are doing

for each of them.

I pray these things in Jesus' name,

Prayer for

Healing

Merciful Lord,

You are our Creator, and you are our Healer.

You have compassion for us in our sicknesses and our pain.

I come to you in the quiet of the night and ask you to heal ______ and _____.

I ask that your healing power would fully permeate every part of their body as they sleep.

I ask that whatever isn't working properly in their body, would have a miraculous touch from you this night. 

May your loving arms embrace them and provide a hedge of protection around them.

Thank you for everything you are doing for them.

In the Miraculous, Mighty, and Loving name of Jesus,

Difficulties at work

This is written for a woman. Please adapt for a man.

Lord of Infinite Love,

I lift up _______ to you.

I pray that as she is sleeping,

you will prepare her

for her day tomorrow.

Refresh her

as she sleeps

so that she is better able to handle

the difficulties that she will encounter

in her work day tomorrow. 

When _______ encounters frustrations,

I pray that she will hear

your soothing voice

speaking calmness. 

When ______ encounters irritations,

I pray that she will hear

your soothing voice

speaking wisdom to her.

Help her to find your peace

in the midst of personal challenges

and in the midst of agitations

coming from those who work with her.

Thank you for guiding her toward blessings.

Wide Open.

God of Miracles and Wonders,

I pray for ______ and ________ and ________.

I pray that they will quit resisting you.

I pray that they will quit putting up barriers between you and them. 

I pray that they will quit keeping their distance from you.

I pray that they will quit thinking it is normal to live life separated from you. 

Touch them with your love.

Melt their hurts. 

Heal their emotional wounding,
heal their emotional pain,
and make known to them their faulty thinking  -
all of which
is causing them to run toward ungodly pleasures. 

Disassemble the high walls that surround them.

Disassemble the walls that they use to keep you at a distance.

Do miracles I pray.

I lift up these requests in the Miraculous Name of Jesus'

Prayer for my Child and Loved Ones 

Prayer

For a daughter

Please adapt for your loved one.

Lord,

I cry out to you in the quiet of the night.

In the quiet of the night there are no distractions;
there is nothing
to draw my attention away
from my daughter
and my fervent prayer request
for my daughter.

I call out to you,
but there are no answers to my questions.

Why isn’t she turning her life over to you?

Why isn’t she running into your arms?

Why doesn’t she want to live for you?

Pour your compassion on my daughter.

Let your compassion run all over her situation.

Pour your compassion on the longing of my
parental heart
of love.

I wait, Lord.

I cry out for my daughter – day after day.

I ask again that you would bring my daughter into a solid, growing relationship with you.

I pray this prayer in the

Mighty and Transforming Name of Jesus Christ,

Jesus told us this story...

And he [Jesus] said,

 “There was a man who had two sons. 

12 And the younger of them said to his father,
‘Father, give me the share of property
that is coming to me.’
And he [the father] divided his property between them. 

13 Not many days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took a journey into a far country, and there he squandered his property in reckless living. 

14 And when he had spent everything,
a severe famine arose in that country,
and he began to be in need.

 15 So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed pigs. 

16 And he was longing to be fed with the pods that the pigs ate, and no one gave him anything.

17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father's hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger!

 18-19 I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you.  I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants.”’

 20 And he arose and came to his father.

But while he was still a long way off,

his father saw him and felt compassion,

and ran and embraced him and kissed him.

 21 And the son said to him,
‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

 22 But the father said to his servants, 
‘Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. 

23 And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. 

24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again;

he was lost, and is found.’

And they began to celebrate.
