Dear Lord,

Thank you for this special day.

We are excited about the opportunity to honor ____________ and celebrate the event of his/her retirement.

Lord, we thank you for all the ways that you have protected him/her and provided for him/her through the years.

We pray that you would make this retirement party a special time of joyful fellowship and warm memories.

Retirement Dinner Prayer

Dear Lord,

We come today to honor _______and to thank him for his many years  of service.

________ has inspired us with his many faithful years of service -   to this company, to our customers, and also to our staff who work alongside him.

He has been a friend and a helpful co-worker to all of us. His steady work habits and his steady attitude have made an uplifting impact on all who work with him.

We pray that you would continue to bless him as he begins this new life change. May he find new adventures and new joy as he embraces his well - earned retirement years.

Lord, we now lift up this food to you and ask that you would bless this food – and – our fellowship.

In the mighty name of God we pray,
