A Morning Prayer for Husbands and Wives

Father God,

We come before you as a couple, thanking you for all your blessings. 

We lift up this day to you.

We place our plans into your hands.

We want to pick up your plans for our day.

We give you glory, and honor, and praise.

Today, we celebrate our love for you, and we celebrate our love for each other.

We ask you to help us to walk through our day in a manner
that shows our loved ones and the world - that we love and serve Jesus Christ. 

In Jesus’ name we pray,

Dear Heavenly Father,

You teach us that cheerfulness and laughter are healing for the body, mind, and emotions.

We pray for blessings of joy and laughter this week.

May we become more aware of the funny situations that happen all around us.

May we live more lighthearted and playful this week.

May we be ready to fully embrace our opportunities to be amused and giggle.

Thank you for blessing our marriage and blending us together in beautiful ways.

Dear Lord,

You are wise, wonderful, and worthy of praise!

Today we come before you to pray for your guidance and grace on us and our marriage.

We pray that you will help us to submit to you and follow you today.

We pray that we will say "Yes" to you throughout the day.

We pray that we will say "Yes" to your plans for us this day.

We pray that we will say, "Yes" to serving you today.

We pray that we will say "Yes" to being bold and courageous for you this day.

We pray that we will say, "Yes" to right living and purity this day.

We desire to resist the devil today.

We pray that we will resist every wrong thing.

Help us to say, "No" to voices that tempt us this day.

Help us to say, "No" to lies, addictions, and all forms of ungodliness.  

We were created to be POWERFUL.

We were created to follow Jesus and be Champions for Jesus Christ.

We were created to see the best in our spouse each day and encourage our spouse each day. 

We will rise up and be Amazing today!
