I pray for my teenager.

Direct her steps

each day.

Protect her from people

and

from

situations

that would

draw her away from you.

Give her wisdom beyond her years.

Help with School

Heavenly Father,

I pray that you will help my daughter's mind to be sharp today.

Help her to easily understand the concepts she needs to learn today.

Help her to stir up and apply good study habits.

Remind her to fully enjoy the feeling she gets when she works hard for you and when she triumphs over temptations.

Strength

Dear Lord,

I lift up my teenager to you.

Keep her strong today as she faces difficulties and temptations.

Remind her that you are with her to help her get through each one.

Help her to keep her heart dedicated to you and  your word even when she hears voices that oppose you.

Heavenly Father,

I thank you for my child.

I take joy in praying for my child.

you will protect her this day.

Open her eyes

to the path you have for her this day.

about how to brightly shine her light for you.

every treasure

of joy

that you have hidden in her day.

Hearing God

Dear Lord,

I lift up my teenager to you.

I pray that her spiritual ears will clearly hear you.

Turn up the volume

of your voice

and

turn down the volume

of the voices that

draw her away

from your plans and purposes.

I ask these things in Jesus' name,

she will be attracted to boys

who are kind and caring.

I pray that

she will be attracted to boys

who have

strong character and strong integrity.

Father God,

My child needs your help and guidance.

My child needs to hear

your voice

when she is faced

with temptations

including

sexual temptations.

Help her

by whispering to her

good reasons

why

she should do what you say.

Lord, you gave us

your words

of

purity

in order to protect us

and

give us

a good solid start

to a healthy marriage.

Help me

as I try

to explain that to my child.

from helping your teen to make good choices.

Dear Lord,

I pray that you would bless my child.

I pray that you would guide my child to properly protect her heart with regard to love.

I pray that she will be attracted to boys - and later men - who have a heart that is devoted to you.

I pray that she will be attracted to men who are deeply kind and caring.

I pray that she will choose to marry a man who will be steadfast in his love for you and for her - a man who will always be tender and loving toward her.

Thank you for everything you are doing to protect my daughter as she transitions into adulthood.
