Prayers to Celebrate our Men

Prayers to Celebrate and Honor

the Men of our Church.

These prayers are intended to be used by churches
to pray during a church service.

The first prayer is intended for a normal Sunday morning prayer.
It is intended to keep our men fired up for Christ!

The second prayer is intended for a special service where the congregation wants to honor the faithful men of their congregation.

Dear Lord,

We come to you today thanking you for the men you have placed in our congregation. 

Our men are becoming mighty men for Christ.

Our men are becoming powerful, pumped up, and prepared to   pulverize the forces of darkness that come against our church, our homes, and our nation.

Your wisdom and your compassion are increasingly evident in our men.

We celebrate -  and we honor -  the fabulous, faithful men of our congregation.

May they feel our respect and love this day.

The Second Prayer

Someone should acknowledge the men that the next prayer is directed toward before the prayer. It could be directed toward the deacons, the elderly men of the congregation, the entire male leadership of the church, etc.

Dear Lord,

We lift up these faithful men who have spent their lives showing their dedication to our church.

We honor these strong men who have been the foundation and the backbone of our congregation.

We honor their service to God. We honor their service to us.

We honor the wisdom they have shared, and the compassion they have shown.

Today, may they feel the love and respect that we have for them.

In Jesus’ name we pray,

Amen
