for a Mother - in - law

to pray

Heavenly Father,

I thank you and praise you for my family.

I want to be an Amazing Blessing to my family.

I want to learn from you so that I become an even more powerful beacon of love for my family.

Lord, I want to continually display a heart of kindness and gentleness. Help me to enjoy displaying your Galatians 5
Fruit of the Spirit. Lead me toward more maturity in Christ Jesus. I will yield to your guidance.

I want to be a woman of joy. I want to bring smiles and laughter into our home. I want to refuse offence and instead - embrace an attitude of quick forgiveness. Remind me, Lord.

I lift up my daughter-in-law today

and ask that

you would bless her.

I want to be a good friend to her.

I want to have tenderness toward her weaknesses.

I will find beauty in her ways of doing things. 
I will remind myself that
she doesn't have to do things
the way I do things.
I will be careful not to hurt her feelings or create strife. 

Lord, I want to be a positive influence on my daughter-in-law.
I will cultivate a deep love and compassion for my daughter-in-law and her family of origin.

Remind me to speak compliments and words of encouragement to my daughter-in-law.

Remind me to pray for my daughter-in-law. 

I will pray Powerful Prayers for her.
I will pray Strengthening Prayers for her.
I will wholeheartedly pray that
her marriage to my son will be
as sweet as honey and as strong as steel.  

Use me, Lord, to be an illustration of love for all my family.

Bring me wisdom for each of my days. 

I ask you to:
refresh me when I am tired,
heal me when I am sick,
strengthen me and give me wisdom when I am
frustrated or in need of making a decision.

In the Life - Blessing Name of Jesus, I pray,
