The  Colorful Wonders of God.

Dear Lord,

I praise you for you are an Amazing Artist.
You are the Master Painter of our World.

From your palette, you brushed the world with splashes of forest green, sky blue, and sunny yellow.

You created lush jungles of jade and arid deserts of gold.

You formed majestic mountains, and then you took scoops of brilliant white snow and topped their peaks.

You shaped multi-layered canyons and adorned them with copper-colored hues.

Your exquisite creation is vibrant and full of variety.

Joy and thankfulness rise in me as I meditate on the beauty of your world.

Amen

This artist could see some colors but not other colors.

God compares a good relationship with him

to a happily married couple.

Jesus is the bridegroom, and we are to be the bride.

Chris Whaley.

He is a former pro wrestler who has been beaten up

by the biggest men in the world.

He has gone 65 years without seeing

the full spectrum of colors.

He has viewed the

emotional EnChroma reaction Youtube videos,

but he thinks

he would never get emotional

about seeing colors.

Psalm 105

O, give thanks to the Lord;

call upon his name:

make known his deeds among the people.

Sing unto him,

sing psalms unto him:

talk ye of all his wondrous works.

Seek the Lord, and his strength:

seek his face evermore 

Let's use verses from

Psalm 105

as part of a prayer.

The prayer is written out

after the pattern is explained.

Pattern

Here is the pattern of our prayer:

We are going to read verses 1-3 - and then say 

"Lord, I thank you for the glorious things you do.
I thank you for ________________.

I will sing your praises this day. I will sing to you.

I will tell people about your miracles. I will tell the young ones in my family about the miraculous stories in the Bible.

I will think back to miracles that you, Lord, have done for me. I will share them with others to encourage others.

I will rejoice and be glad. I will walk around my home rejoicing because you, Lord, have done many great and kind things for me.
I will thank you for _________________-

We will say verse 4 - and then say - "I will dedicate myself to you, Lord. I will  grow closer to you -  the Almighty, Infinite Lord of All.

Amen"

Here is our Prayer

Heavenly Father,

I honor you and your word.

Your word says... 

O give thanks unto the Lord;

call upon his name:

2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him:

talk ye of all his wondrous works.

3 Glory ye in his holy name:

let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.

Lord, I thank you for the glorious things you do.

Saturday

Being able

to see

COLORS

is a blessing

to be thankful for.

Just think how we will react

when we see the beauty of heaven!

Many people in the videos

start crying when they open the box.

Just the anticipation of seeing colors is emotional.

If we anticipated the beauty of heaven

as much as that - think how our life would change.

Seeing our colorful world

Hearing and seeing are gifts from the LORD.
