Dear Heavenly Father,
I ask you to harmonize me with your Word.
Harmonize me, Lord, so that
my perception of your portion

it is enough.
Amen!

Part 6
Psalm 119:57 AMP
says
The Lord is my portion;
I have promised to keep Your words.
Today I highlight
God's Word.
God
thinks that
the gift of
His Bible
is the second greatest gift he gives us.
God tells us to say...
I rejoice at your word as one who finds great treasure.
Psalm 119:162 NKJV
Part of our portion
is God's Word.
In speaking about
His Scriptures,
God says in...
Psalm 19:10-11 NLT
They are more desirable than gold,
even the finest gold.
They are sweeter than honey,
even honey dripping from the comb.
11 They are a warning to your servant,
a great reward for those who obey them.
God says...
Great blessings belong to those
who don’t listen to evil advice,
who don’t live like sinners,
and who don’t join those who make fun of God.
2 Instead, they love the Lord’s teachings
and think about them day and night.
Psalm 1-2 ERV
God's Word teaches us to say,
How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed
according to Your word.
10 With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
11 Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.
Psalm 119:9-11 NKJV
I will delight myself in Your statutes;
I will not forget Your word.
Psalm 119:16 NKJV
Concluding Thoughts about the following verse...
"You will show me the way of life,
granting me
the joy of your presence
and the pleasures of living with you forever."
Psalm 16:11 NLT
After becoming a Christian
The next step is to develop a friendship with God.
Over the years, I have realized that
most Christians know very little about
"the joy of God's presence."
One of the main reasons this website exists
is to share
my closeness with God
in hopes
that it will
help visitors to this site
to have new ideas about how to come closer to God.
God wants everyone
to experience the joy of his presence.
Psalm 16 talks about,
"The pleasures of living with God forever."
God wants us to think of it
as a pleasure
to live with him forever.
God wants us to yearn for a closer walk with him.
It is his plan
that as we walk with him,
he becomes
our best friend.
All the prayers and Bible devotions on this site
are presented because
I think they help people to come closer to God
and to find God's will for their life.
People tell me that some pages such as the
Prayers for Women and Prayers for Men
are especially good at that.

Lyrics:
Even in the wilderness God, You are my God,
Earnestly I search for You With everything I've got.
For I have seen You in Your glory. I have seen You in Your power.
Your unfailing love is with me Day after day Hour after hour.
CHORUS:
I will honor You as long as I live.
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
My thirsting soul will be satisfied in You. Satisfied in You.
Even as I lie awake my thoughts are all on You.
You've helped and protected me in everything I do. And You are holding me securely with a greater love than life. You will be my sanctuary Day after day Night after night.
CHORUS
I will sing in the shadow of your protecting wings. And seek after you in all things In all things. I will honor You as long as I live. And I will lift up my hands in Your name. My thirsting soul will be satisfied in You. I'll be Satisfied in You.
REPEAT CHORUS Satisfied in You, Satisfied in You I'm so satisfied.
