Psalm 41
A Page about Healing
Featuring
Verses 1-3
~ ~ ~
An Astonishing message from God.
Psalm 41:1-3 NLT
Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor!
The Lord
rescues them when they are in trouble.
2 The Lord protects them
and keeps them alive.
He gives them prosperity in the land
and
rescues them from their enemies.
3 The Lord nurses them when they are sick
and restores them to health.
Those words
are
Astonishing,
and
full of
Amazing
Blessings!
God is saying that:
If
you do those things,
you will be
healthier
than
if you do not.
And
you will get rescued from more things.
And
you will have more prosperity than if you did not.
For the rest of the page,
I will focus on
the topic of
Healing the Body.
And consider visiting out page:
God's Word is Healthy for our Body.
It is similar to -
eating healthy foods and getting enough rest.
Note:
You can't just buy the healthy food. You have to eat it.
And you can't just have a Bible. You have to read it.
My understanding is that...
if you often speak out Bible verses and often read them,
it activates the promises in the Bible
in some way.
Proverbs 4:20-22
is Amazing...
My child, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them,
And
health to all their flesh.
Proverbs 4:20-22
Scriptures such Isaiah 51, tell us that
God wants us to speak out
His Words.
God said,
"And I have put my words in your mouth
and hidden you safely in my hand.
I stretched out
the sky like a canopy
and laid the foundations of the earth."
Isaiah 51:16 a NLT
Now to be clear,
we live on earth
(not in heaven)
so Bible verses
do not promise us perfect health in this life
or perfection in any area of our life.
But
God promises that it will be much better for you
- you will be more blessed -
if you do these things
than
if you do not.
And God's words in
Psalm 41
are very similar to verses in Isaiah 58.
One of my favorite Bible verses
is
Isaiah 58:10-11 TLB.
It has similar promises to Psalm 41:1-3.
It says...
Feed the hungry!
Help those in trouble!
Then your light will shine out from the darkness,
and the
darkness around you shall be as bright as day.
11 And the Lord will guide you continually,
and satisfy you with all good things,
and keep you healthy too;
and you will be like a well-watered garden,
like an ever-flowing spring.
With
Isaiah 58:10-11
and Psalm 41:1
God has instructions attached to the promise.
We are to
Feed the Hungry and Help those in Trouble.
I often speak out Isaiah 58:10-11.
And I make a goal of
Feeding the Hungry and Helping those in Trouble.
I have seen a difference
in my health and in all areas of blessings from God
as I have done those two things.
I take the Words of God seriously.
Note that;
I give no guarantee to you - just my personal experience.
Love God
Love His Word
In
Isaiah 58:11
- in the Hebrew language -
the idea is to
strengthen the
"bones."
For example, in the NASB translation
Verse 11 b says...
And give strength to your
bones;
And you will be
like a watered garden.
I have noticed that
the
Bible
equates
healthy bones to a healthy body.
We see this in the Scriptures below.
Note:
I pray for my bones and
speak out these Bible verses to bless my bones.
Pleasant words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and
healing to the bones.
Proverbs 16:24
(Here God is advising us to speak pleasant words.)
~
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your body and
refreshment to your bones.
Proverbs 3:7-8
(Here is our page explaining Fear of the Lord.)
~
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Proverbs 17:22 KJV
(God is advising us to cultivate a merry heart.)
~
The light of the eyes rejoices the heart,
And a good report makes the bones healthy.
Proverbs 15:30 NKJV
~
A tranquil heart gives life to the flesh,
but envy makes the bones rot.
Proverbs 14:30 ESV
~
There is no soundness in my flesh Because of Your anger,
Nor any health in my bones Because of my sin.
Psalm 38:3 NKJV
(God is informing us that sin can sometimes make us sick. )
~
Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak:
O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
Psalm 6:2 NKJV
If you are facing literal death
from some kind of
sickness, disease or injury,
I would suggest reading and speaking out
Psalm 41:1-2
Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor!
The Lord
rescues them when they are in trouble.
2 The Lord protects them
and keeps them alive.
I would also suggest you speak out
other
Bible verses
on that topic.
See the verses
I have written out further down.
Note:
There is
no guarantee
if you regularly speak these verses out
that you will be healed.
But note:
God's Word is Healthy for our Body.
Like - eating healthy foods and getting enough rest
Perfect healing is only found in heaven.
I shall not die, but live,
And declare the works of the Lord.
Psalm 118:17 NKJV
I prayed to you, Lord God,
and you healed me,
saving me
from death and the grave.
Psalm 30:2-3 CEV
You, Lord, have saved my life from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling.
Psalm 116:8-9 CEV
For You have delivered my life from death,
yes, and my feet from falling,
that I may walk
before God in the light of life and of the living.
Psalm 56:13 AMPC
"You will live a long life and see my saving power.”
Psalm 91:16 CEV
My child, if you listen
and obey my teachings,
you will live a long time.
11 I have shown you the way
that makes sense;
I have guided you
along the right path.
12 Your road won't be blocked,
and you won't stumble
when you run.
13 Hold firmly to my teaching
and never let go.
It will mean life for you.
Proverbs 4:10-13 CEV
