This Bible devotion contains

Two Secret Words

that will propel you

to

VICTORY

in any spiritual battle that you face.

When you speak these two

Power Words

out loud,

they begin to transform your life.

We begin with

Isaiah 14:12-15

in the New King James Version.

This passage is about Lucifer's rebellion against God.

Lucifer

is the one we now call the devil or Satan.

As you read the passage,

see if you can pick out the two

Power Words

that Satan used to establish his rebellion against God.

Isaiah 14:12-15

says:

“How you are fallen from heaven,

O Lucifer, son of the morning!

How you are cut down to the ground,

You who weakened the nations!

For you have said in your heart:

I will ascend into heaven,

I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;

I will also sit on the mount of the congregation

on the farthest side of the north;

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,

I will be like the Most High.

Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,

to the lowest depths of the Pit.”

Did you catch the two

Power Words

that Lucifer used

to seal his determination against God?

They are the words

“I will.”

Lucifer said:

I will ascend into heaven,

I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;

I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest side of the north;

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,

I will be like the Most High.

AGAINST God

with the words

“I will.”

Lucifer used those two

Power Words

to

 - Rebel -

AGAINST

God's will.

After I discovered what Lucifer did,

I decided to use those

Power Words

to seal my allegiance

TO

God.

I now use those words

to renew my mind

and

reaffirm my will

to follow God's will.

Those two words are

Powerful Weapons

that I can use in every spiritual battle.

Exactly how do I use the

Power Words

for a spiritual battle?

?

I take note of what I want more of in my life, and then

I make “I will” statements.

“I will” statements are powerful when I say them in my heart, but they are even more powerful when I say them out ...loud.

So I regularly say them out... loud.

My “I will” statements propel me to become more like Jesus.

I call my “I will” statements:

My Proclamations.

I regularly speak out ...loud my proclamations.

Those proclamations renew my mind

and

set my determination

to follow God.

Another vital part of my plan is to also speak

out loud

Bible verses that reinforce the area

that I am working on in my life.

Steps

Steps

to use

Proclamations

in a spiritual battle:

Step one is

• Take note of the things that seem hard for me in my daily life.

Step Two

• Make proclamations about the subject area I am working on, and then I speak them out... loud regularly.

Step Three

• Find one or more Bible verses that I say out... loud regularly on the subject area I am working on.

I'll give an example:

I want to be a gentle and kind person. Sometimes it is a challenge for me to talk in a gentle way when I am in a hurry. So I make “I will” statements.

For example, I say, “I will be gentle and kind even when I am in a hurry.”

Then I find a Bible verse to help me renew my mind. The word of God is powerful.

Sample Bible Verse

Galatians 5:22

“When the Holy Spirit controls our lives he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”

 

Speaking out... loud that verse helps me

to renew my mind.

I have used that verse

to help increase

my motivation and my determination

for slowing down and being kind.

I love God.

I want to do whatever God asks of me.

I want to obey him.

Proclamations

help me to obey God.

They help me renew my mind.

help me gain

VICTORY

in every spiritual battle.

Proclamations

can get

YOU

stirred up

to become the best

you can be!
