The Joy

of the Bride of Christ 

We are joyful

because of

what the Lord has done for us. 

Isaiah 1:18 says:

“Come now, and let us reason together,

saith the LORD:

though your sins be as scarlet,

they shall be as white as snow;

though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

The one who knows us best

loves us most!

His love for us is full and complete.

He wants us to allow his love

to satisfy our soul.

Let's celebrate!

When we allow Jesus to guide us during the day,

beautiful dance with Jesus...

Heaven

As the Bride of Christ matures

David wrote these words...

As the deer longs for streams of water,

    so I long for you, O God.

I thirst for God, the living God.

Psalm 42:1-2 a

As we mature in Christ,

we long

more and more

to be with our Lord.

Heaven becomes our happy thought.

And as we read Bible prophecies,

we realize that

Jesus is coming back to earth

one day

to take us to heaven

in a rapture,

and we sense it might be soon.

Revelation 22:17

teaches us

to say,

"The Spirit and the Bride say, 'Come'"

Revelation 19:7-9 

says

Let us rejoice and exult

 and give him the glory,

for the marriage of the Lamb has come,

 and his Bride has made herself ready;

it was granted her to clothe herself

    with fine linen, bright and pure”—

for the fine linen

is the righteous deeds of the saints.

The Bible tells us

that the Bride makes herself ready.

As the Bride,

we read

the Word of God

and allow Jesus to

wash us and cleanse us

with the water of the Word of God.

Ephesians 5:27

The above verse

reminds me that

when

we draw close to God,

we begin to

hunger for

righteousness and holiness. 

We long to be

like our Lord and Savior.

I direct my heart to seek you this day.

I direct my mind to think thoughts of

dedication and praise to you.

I direct my will to be steadfast

her first bridal dance was ruined.

But it wasn't.

She just needed to stay calm and not panic.

We who love Jesus

are

the Bride of Christ.

When awful things happen,

we can remember this video and realize that

Jesus our Bridegroom

can do the impossible

to fix our broken hearts

and messed up situations

if we give him time.

And the lyrics to the song

can inspire us to intentionally

dance through life

with joy -

dance like we've never been hurt

and

we've never been sad.

We can listen to the lyrics and decide to dance

while we wait on Jesus to make things right.

Jesus doesn't want yesterday to ruin our today.

Take note:

The groom had a surprise for his bride,

and

Jesus has surprises for His Bride.

Picture the joy of Jesus

Jesus wants to help us

learn how to embrace

today

with gusto

and with forgiveness

(of yourself and others).

Jesus wants to show us how to

create supernatural joy in our life.

Whenever things seem ruined.
