Lord,

I will cultivate the right attitude

while I am waiting on you.

Tuesday 

As a Champion for Christ

I will

Read Scripture while I'm Waiting

But they that wait upon the Lord

shall renew their strength;

they shall mount up

with wings as eagles;

they shall run, and not be weary;

and

they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 30:31 KJV

Wednesday 

As a Champion for Christ

I will

Sing while I'm Waiting

Therefore, I will look unto the Lord:

I will wait

for the God of my salvation:

my God will hear me.

Micah 7:7 KJV

Thursday

As a Champion for Christ

I will

Serve while I'm Waiting

Prayer for Serving

Lord of my heart,

I value you, and I value your Word.

Your Word tells me to love and bless other people.

Your will is for me to view everyone in my life as valuable.

You want me to honor people and treat them with respect every day.

I receive my mission to love people this day. I receive my mission to be helpful toward their needs, compassionate toward their hurts, encouraging toward their trials, enthusiastic toward their victories, warm toward their presence, and forgiving toward their mistakes and sins.

Change my heart, Lord. Teach me to be more like you.

I will yield to you this day.

I will Serve You

while I'm

Waiting.

Show me Your ways, O Lord;

I am destined to SOAR!

O my soul, why be so gloomy and discouraged?

Trust in God!

I shall again praise him for his wondrous help;

he will make me smile again, for he is my God!

I will soon SOAR!

Hebrews 12:1-3

talks about life

as running a race for Christ.

And even when we are doing

a pretty good job of waiting,

we will have times

when the frustration of waiting

stirs our emotions.

Below is a prayer for such a time.

Prayer:

Almighty and All Knowing God,

I want to run the race

with contentment.

Today I struggle.

Today, as I'm running the race,

I ask...

Can we pick up the pace?

This waiting is not easy.

Soothe my restless heart.

Show me how to receive more of your

Peace

as I wait.

Amen
